Obtains AS9120B Certification for Aerospace Quality Management Systems

Nippon Steel Trading Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "our company") has obtained certification for AS9120B, an international quality management system standard for the aerospace industry.

AS9120B is part of the AS9100 series, which adds aerospace‑specific requirements to ISO 9001. Targeting trading companies and distributors, the standard requires rigorous product quality assurance and full traceability throughout the supply chain. This certification was achieved through the coordinated efforts of our Stainless Steel, Titanium & Special Steel Sales Department and Logistics Management Department.
In the aerospace industry, the world’s highest levels of safety and reliability are required. Preventing counterfeit materials and ensuring advanced traceability are also essential in material procurement. Our company has long contributed to the development of the industry through the export of titanium products and supply chain management. Amid continued market growth, we pursued AS9120B certification to further enhance the trust and safety we provide to our customers.
Going forward, we will continue to strengthen our quality management framework and work to further improve quality and build a stable supply structure for titanium materials and related products. Together with our partners in Japan and overseas, we will continue contributing to the sustainable growth of the aerospace industry.
