Signing of MOU with Bangladesh’s Leading Steel Processing and Sales Company, McDonald Steel Building Products Ltd.

Nippon Steel Trading Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “our company”) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with McDonald Steel Building Products Ltd. (Headquarters: Bangladesh, President: Sarwar Kamal, hereinafter referred to as "MSBPL"), a company engaged in the processing and sales of steel and architectural products in Bangladesh, regarding collaboration on civil engineering and construction projects in Bangladesh.
MSBPL is Bangladesh’s foremost steel processing company, handling everything from the design to construction of steel structures, as well as the processing and sales of steel and architectural products, boasting a very high presence in the local market.
Since commencing steel trading in 2011, our company and MSBPL established Nippon & McDonald Steel Industries Limited (engaged in the shearing and sales of steel sheets) in January 2014. We have been working to strengthen our sales force in the Bangladeshi market and expand steel trading. We have now agreed to strengthen our collaboration to enhance both companies' presence.
Moving forward, our company will strive to capture the steel demand in Bangladesh and provide added value by collaborating with MSBPL closely, thereby contributing to the Bangladeshi economy and aiming for business expansion in Asia.
