Our Domestic Subsidiary Acquires Business from Automotive Steel Tube Cutting and Processing Company

Nippon Steel Trading Corporation (head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Shinichi Nakamura; hereinafter “NST”) hereby announces that its subsidiary, NST Mechanical Tubular Products Sales Co., Ltd. (head office: Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture; President: Hideki Akiyama; hereinafter “Mechanical Tubular Sales”) has decided to acquire the business and part of assets from SAKAISHIN, Ltd. (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Akira Sano; hereinafter “SAKAISHIN”).
１. Objectives
Through the acquisition of the business and part of assets from SAKAISHIN, a company specialized in distribution, processing, and sales of automotive steel tubes, Mechanical Tubular Sales will improve the efficiency of sales bases and distribution processing centers owned by the two companies, thereby better serve its customers and strengthen its sales platform with the aim of further improving customer satisfaction.

Mechanical Tubular Sales will acquire the business and part of assets from SAKAISHIN in the form of a business acquisition.
