SAC is an organization headquartered in the United States that is composed of around 240 member companies and entities from around the world that are involved primarily with apparel and footwear products, including retailers, apparel manufacturers, garment factories, material manufacturers, laboratories, and government agencies. Thesemembers have joined together to construct supply chains that minimize environmental impacts and to improve working environments. Including NSSB, six Japanese companies and entities are members of SAC.

Through a variety of means including membership in SAC, NSSB will work to strengthen our efforts aimed at sustainability in its supply chain for apparel products, and fulfill its obligations as a trading company supplying apparel products to Japan and overseas.

■ Overview of the NSSB Textiles Division

With strengths in the areas of OEM and ODM contracted production, this division supplies approximately 80 million apparel products each year, primarily to the Japan market, generating sales of 153.6 billion yen (segment result for the year ended March 31, 2018).
